The Little Blue Tank Engine is a little tank engine like Thomas.
When Thomas left to run his branch line, Sir Topham Hatt borrowed a little blue tank engine to shunt at Tidmouth. For unknown reasons, the tank engine only made one appearance; it can be assumed that he was sent back to his old railway after Percy was brought to the railway or that he was sent back because of bad behaviour (he was heard to tease James about his incident with the bootlaces).
Basis[]
The tank engine's basis is unknown, but he appears to have side tanks from his cab to half-way along his boiler and he might have either a 0-6-2, 0-4-4 or 2-4-2 wheel arrangement.
